11 April 2012 The VEGA Company of the Company Group ALKOR BIO Took Part in the Science Conference Human Genome Meeting 2012On the 11-14th of March scientists of VEGA Company – Aleksandr Pavlov, the Chief of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, and Arseny Smirnov, the Chief of the Molecular-Genetic Diagnostics Group, - were participants of the 16th conference HGM 2012 in Sidney (Australia). They made a report about the results of diagnostics test-systems in microchip format investigations for mucoviscidosis gene mutation determination.

20 March 2012 The Allergens of ALKOR BIO Company have Got CE-markIn March the allergens of Saint-Petersburg biotechnological company ALKOR BIO including the new 8 ones launched at the beginning of March have got CE-mark. All in all ALKOR BIO produces 88 biotin-conjugated ready-to-use allergens in liquid form. For 2012 the company plans development and production of some tens of allergens.

14 March 2012 The New Lyophilic Drying Installation is Started upAt the beginning of 2012 the ALKOR BIO Company launched the lyophilic drying installation, manufactured by German company ZIRBUS, at its production area. That is the second most significant purchase of the company for the last half a year. After the resettlement of ALKOR BIO to its own building the company has purchased for its production area an automatic line for immunobiological plane tables manufacturing. This expensive import equipment allows to make the process of antigens and/or antibodies batching of high precise and mark each card separately that is very important for all strict Russian and European requirements to medical products identification. The new installation productivity is 50 kg/24 h. Only a few large federal science-and-research institutes in the North-West region of Russia have lyophilic equipment of such capacity. |

14 December 2011 Company Alkor Bio is a winner of the contest "The Best Exporter of Saint-Petersburg in 2011"On the 14-th of December the ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest «The Best Exporter of Saint-Petersburg in 2011» took place. Company Alkor Bio won the second place in the nomination «Small businesses of different directions» and thereby was awarded with a diploma, a statuette and a one million rubles bonus. It’s needed to mentioned that in 2010 Alkor Bio also was a winner.
