Alkor Bio Group has developed and launched 38 new allergens and mixes, including - the second recombinant allergen of birch pollen

In early September, Alkor Bio Group has launched another batch of new allergens and allergen mixes, extending thus allergen panel up to 375 positions. Among the new allergens there are food allergens (millet, mustard, artichoke, lettuce, green peppers, chili peppers, green beans, cheddar cheese, fennel, cashew, lime); dosage (adrenocorticotropic hormone, rifampicin, acetylcysteine, porcine insulin); professional (sheep wool, alpha-amylase (barley malt), phthalic anhydride), and others.

The most interesting development at this time is the multicomponent h2 House dust allergen, which comprises chuck, fungal, epithelial insect and textile elements and recombinant birch pollen allergen rBet v 4 birch (Betula verrucosa). Earlier Alkor Bio Group had developed and commercialized recombinant allergen rBet v 1 - the main component of birch pollen, which is able to show cross-reactivity with a number of plant allergens.

And in late 2013 Alkor Bio Group began production of allergen components extracted from natural raw materials (native allergens). They are the components of egg protein as a major source of allergies in children (nGal d 1 ovomucoid and ovalbumin nGal d 2) and pollen allergens of Artemisia (nArt v 1 Wormwood (Artemisia vulgaris) and nArt v 3 Wormwood), as markers of efficacy allergy specific immunotherapy.

Allergen components as all monoallergens and mixtures of allergens of Alkor Bio Group  production, are used in conjunction with the test system "AllergoEIA-specific IgE", intended for the quantitative determination of specific IgE in human serum by enzyme immunoassay. All allergens, as well as test system "AllergoEIA-specific IgE" are registered in the RF Roszdravnadzor and have CE-mark.
